About Breeze & Bloom
Hi! We are Lu and Breeze, twin sisters in Southern California passionate about gardening, home décor, and embracing a laid-back child-free lifestyle. Join us on our journey as we help connect and inspire childfree people to further enhance their meaningful and joyful lives.
A little more about Lu (in the photo above at-left).
For nearly 20 years, Lu has been soaking up the Southern California sunshine. Along the way, she’s gained a love for the laid-back California casual home design and lifestyle. Lu’s green thumb started to sprout when she acquired a quaint beachside bungalow with a sunny backyard to grow flowers, a bit of food, and CA native plants.
When she’s not at work (in the legal professional field), Lu also fosters special needs rescue dogs, is a novice surfer and enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, and loves small group dinners with friends over good food and wine. She is also passionate about exploring this big blue world and has been fortunate to visit several countries, and hopes to visit several more.
A little more about Breeze (in the photo above at-right).
In 2021, Breeze moved to Southern California in search of warmer weather, the world’s best tacos, a home with land to grown on, and more frequent visits with her sister.
Prior to moving, Breeze gardened for two years on a small apartment balcony, and she started a small veggie and flower patch for her parents at their family home.
In addition to gardening, Breeze enjoys home organizing, baking, watercolor painting, and creating handmade cards.
Breeze the Artist
Breeze grew up in the temperate climate of the San Francisco Bay Area, California. From an early age, Breeze has been a student of the arts, inspired by her surroundings both indoors and out. For more than 20 years, Breeze gained experience with various mediums, including upcycled materials, acrylic paints, and professional-grade markers and pencils. Her most recent works are made using watercolor paint.
Breeze has experience with drawing and painting portraits, animals, and landscapes, all to varying degrees. Her latest pieces feature coastal and tropical flora and fauna, and small animal species including birds, butterflies, and fish.
Although Breeze’s art style leans toward realism, she is intrigued and exploring other styles, including the modern watercolor approach. Breeze’s work can be found adorning the walls of residences in both northern and southern California.
Today, Breeze continues to gain inspiration for her art from the natural world, the beauty of sunny Southern California, and from her travels.
